GMB PANTHERS ADD FORMER NHLer LYNN LOYNS TO THE ROSTER

The GMB Panthers are adding Canadian centre-man Lynn Loyns to the roster for the upcoming campaign.

The 32-year-old has over 30 NHL games on his resume, plus over 300 AHL games, plus over 200 DEL games.

Coach Corey Neilson is thrilled to have the two-way player in his line-up. You can hear the coach on Panthers Radio with Xynomix right now.

Lynn was in Germany last year but his season was disrupted when his brother was taken seriously ill. Before that he was in Austria and Italy before that, four years in Germany's top flight DEL after bouncing between the NHL and the AHL in North America. His NHL games came with San Jose and Calgary.

He will be studying at the University of Derby during his spell with the Panthers, following in the footsteps of the likes of Matt Francis and David Ling.

"I can't wait to get there and show the best fans in the UK what I'm all about," Lynn told the website.
