TEN GOALS AND THREE DIFFERENT GOALIES FOR A SHUT-OUT AGAINST EDINBURGH

Top of the table GMB Panthers were in rampant form as they over-ran bottom club Edinburgh and may well have set a record with three different netminders sharing the shut-out.

Craig Kowalski back-stopped the first period which saw goals for Francis, Lachowicz, Weaver, Galivan and Fox.

Dan Green went in nets at the start of the second whilst at the other end goals were added by Fox, Francis and Benedict (power play).
Third period goals from Graham and Ling took the scoreboard to 10-0 and youngster Sam Gospell went in for five saves in the last five minutes .

Martin Tuma missed the game with a bruised knee but could be in contention n for Friday’s visit by Braehead. David Clarke was also absent through injury on Tuesday, he’s undergoing tests on his leg injury on Wednesday.

The win lifts Nottingham a point clear of the pack at the top of the standings. Belfast have a game in hand and beat Fife on Tuesday (5-1) to go second ahead of Sheffield.
