The Nottingham Panthers secured their third home win in a row last night (Sunday) and will look to extend that streak when the Guildford Flames roll into town on Thursday (Valentines Day, 7.30pm face-off), for the second leg of the Challenge Cup Semi-Finals.

Guildford lead the fixture 5-2 on aggregate so the Panthers will need their nation of fans out in full force to help them claw back the three goal deficit and reach the grand final, held at Cardiff's Viola Arena, on Sunday March 10th.

Interim Head Coach Rick Strachan is undefeated in his three games in charge on home ice, since taking the reigns on January 16th, and looking ahead to Thursday's fixture he spoke to Panthers TV, with the GMB, last night saying "it's a huge game, we all know what it's about. It's a trip to the cup final and we're down three and we know what we have to do and how we're going to do it. We've got a few days to work on things and we'll be ready for Thursday night."

The Panthers will be without Jaynen Rissling (fifth game of a six game suspension) and Dylan Olsen (lower body) for the game so player assistant-coach Kevin Henderson will continue to patrol the blue line.

Special pricing is in effect for the game with tickets reduced to just £12, £10 and £8 in EVERY block. You can book your seats by visiting the Motorpoint Arena box office, calling 0843 373 3000 or clicking here to buy online.
