GMB Nottingham Panthers superb 4-2 win over Swiss visitors Bern – ranked 28 places above Nottingham by the Champions Hockey League – is earning praise from across the globe.

Messages of congratulations have been flooding in to the Panthers camp after they came from two goals down to take the lead against the top flight Swiss visitors and then added an empty-net strike to make it three wins in a row and become the first British team ever to win three matches in Europe’s top club tournament.
