Welcome to Nottingham Alexandre Bolduc
Thirty-three-year-old Canadian Alexandre Bolduc is flying in to join THE NOTTINGHAM Panthers this week.
He was a 2003 fourth round draft pick in the NHL and has played 65 times “in the show” with Vancouver, Phoenix and Arizona and a junior world champion with Canada.
He’s also been a captain and an assistant captain in the AHL where he had 433 games scoring a total of 113 goals and 149 assists for 262 points.
He moved to Russia to play in the highly regarded KHL in 2015-16 and then moved on the top flight in Germany – the DEL – where last season he suffered a pre-season injury and didn’t get going until late on in the campaign.
Said Panthers’ head coach Rich Chernomaz: “He’s a good player with good size and he has played at high levels. I saw him at Cologne and he’s the type of player who will improve our team.
“He can do everything up front and can play in all three forward positions. That will give us even more positioning flexibility while adding more depth to the line-up.”
