ATTENTIONS TURN TO THE TITLE RACE
The cup win is in the history books and already thoughts are turning to Saturday's big league game against league leading Coventry
The players are having a day off today and will be back on the ice as coach Corey Neilson moves his preparations forward for the big league game against the Blaze.
Coventry coach Paul Thompson and his assistant Luc Chabot were in the TrentFM Arena on Tuesday on a spying mission, but as one Panthers' player said when he heard of it : "He won't have learned much from that, that was a cup final, Saturday will be different, altogether different."
Pushing four thousand seats are spoken for for the big clash at 7pm on Saturday. The two sides don't get on, the two coaches don't get on, it promises to be a third barnburner in eight nights at the TrentFM Arena.
