BUILD UP TO THE PLAY-OFFS!
Former Panther Matus Petricko is set to make his come-back against his old club. The Slovakian forward picked up the coach's player of the year award with Cardiff this season. He has been sidelined in recent weeks through injury but we hear he skated today with his team mates and if there are no serious after-effects he will be in the line-up for the play-off game in Nottingham on Saturday.
It means the opposition will just be missing GB forward Paul Sample and the Devils will be the closest they have been to full strength for many weeks.
Meanwhile the GMB Panthers expect to be at full-strength. Matthew Myers returned to the ice for a brief skate yesterday and will join in tomorrow's training. Team medics say they are 95% confident he will be in the line-up. Matthew left the action last weekend with a leg problem half way through the defeat to Manchester. Sunday's second leg in Cardiff starts at 6pm.
Saturday's home game starts at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now.
SEE YOU THERE!
