GMB Panthers wish Mac well.
It's been reported Panthers star from last season Sean McAslan has signed for a team in Denmark.
It's no surprise to the Nottingham club that Mac was being hunted by teams on the continent, his goal scoring record speaks for itself, McAslan had 40 goals in each of his two seasons with the Panthers.
Obviously Panthers would have loved to have kept their captain and new coach Corey Neilson has had lengthly talks with the player who himself admits the clubs offer to keep him was both generous and flattering.
Mac though asked for time saying he felt he rushed into signing last year and he closed the door on other opportunities, now it appears he has taken up one of those opportunities by moving to Denmark.
These things happen in sport, he was a great player for us and we wish him well, Corey Neilson has already been working on replacements and we will have an exciting roster for the fans next season.
