THE WAITING'S NEARLY OVER!
Fans are reminded that Sunday's home opener starts at 4pm. Coach Neilson says we're ready and the puck can't drop soon enough!
Final training took place today and the press have been out in force covering the preparations for the start of the new campaign.
Jade Galbraith and Dan Tessier have done everything they can now to get their visas in time to fly in and we're waiting on the couriers getting stuff back to them. If it happens today we will still try to fly them in time.
Meanwhile coach Corey Neilson believes the hard work of the training camp will pay dividends for us. "It has been an excellent camp, the guys are looking good and getting used to the systems we want to play so everything is shaping up well. And we've got two quality players still to add."
The team travels to Newcastle tomorrow and then its back to the fabulous National Ice Centre for the big face-off. Ityorumun Ndur and Johan Molin who missed the warm-up victory in Peterborough on Wednesday were both back on the ice yesterday.
Sunday sees a revamped match night magazine on sale (still just £2.50) with new features, exclusive photographs and new competitions for fans. The editorial coverage includes in depth looks at the new signings both here and at opponents Hull. Paul Moran misses the game for the beefed up Stingrays who will otherwise be at full-strength.
4pm SUNDAY - SEE YOU
