PAPERWORK ALL IN PLACE for new signing Jay
New signing, former Boston Bruin, Jay Henderson has been cleared to fly into the UK to join the GMB Nottingham Panthers.
The paperwork from the ice hockey authorities and the UK Border Agency is all in place. Jay's wife is expecting their second child and was due to see a doctor in Edmonton on Thursday evening, our time.
That update will have a big bearing on when he can set off and fly to the UK and we're awaiting news from Canada.
Meanwhile, coach Corey Neilson still has eleven "imports" to choose from with ten permitted on the roster in any given game.
Nick Toneys and Johan Molin are both available and a late decision on the line-up is expected.
ANOTHER BUMPER CROWD IS EXPECTED FOR THE CLASH OF THE SPORT'S BIGGEST RIVALS ON SATURDAY AT SEVEN.
THE MATCH AGAINST SHEFFIELD HAS TAKEN ON EVEN BIGGER SIGNIFICANCE FOR THE GMB PANTHERS, WHO ARE GUNNING FOR TEN HOME WINS IN A ROW, AFTER LEAGUE LEADERS COVENTRY DROPPED POINTS ON WEDNESDAY TO THE EDINBURGH CAPITALS.
