Betteridge: We're still going to be ready to go

Panthers Radio caught up with Ollie Betteridge to discuss how preparation for Saturday's game against Edinburgh hasn't been affected by Jaca or the royal visit. Training hasn't been business as usual this week with the GMB Panthers making their way back from the Continental Cup. Prince Harry's visit also forced a rearrange in schedule for the team, but Ollie doesn't think it's going to affect the team at all. "I think we'll be fine and ready to go come Saturday... I don't think it's hampered anything." One thing he insisted wouldn't be a problem was complacency after a 28:4 winning margin over the course of the 2nd Round of the Continental Cup could have the GMB Panthers overconfident. "We're not going to be complacent, we're just going to be flying on Saturday and ready to go." After the tape was off, Ollie said he was mainly excited to be getting to play in front of the PanthersNation again.
