Brilliant fans help us raise over £6,000 for charity
The Nottingham based Headway charity which helps with the care of brain injury victims and research into the effects of injuries will get over £6,000 from the auction sale of the GMB Panthers' special festive shirts. The "tuxedo" designed shirts were used at Christmas in the game against Sheffield and again at New Year in the home game against Coventry. Earlier fund raising and the sales of replica shirts have covered the costs of all the jerseys so every penny from Sunday night's auction will go to the charity. Top bid came in for Brian McGrattan;s shirt, and his young son Gabriel was on hand to help boost the bidding. Alex Nikiforuk and Miika Wiikman's jerseys also hit the £400 mark. On behalf of the club and the charity we would just like to thank our amazing fans once again for their fantastic support. THANK YOU !
