Coach rues missed chances in Coventry

GMB Panthers head coach Corey Neilson was in rueful mood after his side went down 3-1 in Coventry in their first game in the round-robin section of this season's Challenge Cup. Speaking on Panthers Radio (with XYNOMIX) he spoke of how the Panthers' players "put a lot of work in". He also commented on how Coventry played well and Panthers "didn't get any bounces". He blamed some big mistakes for the goals conceded and said after his side fell behind the opponents did a good job of protecting their net. He also speaks about new Panthers recruit Jindrich Pacl who played in nets for Nottingham who the coach said played fine and made some saves, looked a bit rusty but made a big save late in the game but "overall we didn't do enough to protect him."
