Fireworks tonight for sure - and maybe on Sunday on the ice?

The GMB Nottingham Panthers were well represented at the annual fireworks gala charity night at the Blue Bell Hill school this evening. It was open to everyone and there were funfair rides and lots of other attractions followed by the biggest Blue Bell Hill fireworks show yet. Half of the team were on hand for selfies and autographs with the big crowd. Meanwhile, the club is urging fans to get their fireworks fun out of the way before Sunday so that they can still come to the big home Elite League game when the Belfast Giants visit Nottingham at the weekend. A club spokeswoman said : "Sunday fixtures are drawing ever bigger crowds, the four o'clock start gives everyone plenty of time to get home and get ready for the start of the week. Panthers' rivalry against the Giants sometimes spills over and the games are always high octane. It can always lead to fireworks of a different kind." Tickets are on sale now for Sunday's game.
