IT'S GAMEDAY WITH THE ALADDIN CUP IN NOTTINGHAM TONIGHT

Ice hockey's back after the summer break with the Aladdin Cup in Nottingham tonight when the Panthers take on the Braehead Clan at 7pm at the arena. Tickets will be on sale right up until face-off for a match that promises to be competitive from start to finish. Both sides have new faces in their line-up. Both sides have players missing through flights and visa issues. Both sides want to start their season with a win. A year ago the Clan clinched the corresponding fixture by the narrowest of margins with a one goal to nil victory. Panthers are hunting for revenge and want to start the new campaign where they left off the last one....with a victory. Said head coach of the Panthers Corey Neilson: "I'm looking forward to it, we've gone through the systems and the fitness training and the off-ice stuff this week but there's no substitute for game play and there's no such thing as a 'friendly' in ice hockey. The rivalry between the Clan and the Panthers grows year-on-year, tonight will be the start of the latest round. Everyone is itching to get out there and play a game. It'll be tough, but that's what we want." The box office is open all day or you can still buy on line - just click the link from the home page. SEE YOU THERE!
