Shame we didn't pick up points like that earlier in season - Neilson

GMB Panthers coach Corey Neilson has told his players to enjoy a weekend off and to "reset the buttons" when they return to training next week. The cliche "a win's a win" certainly applied to Friday night's 5-4 home success over the Braehead Clan but Panthers' head coach was less than impressed by his team. After a 5-2 first period Panthers ended up hanging on for the victory and "with the exception of Lacho's line, we were poor and guys didn't do their jobs...but we got the points". He also bemoaned the fact that sneaking points earlier in the season after performing like they did on Friday would have changed the face of the title race.
