Tomorrow is Gameday!

There are just over 24 hours till Ice Hockey is back in Nottingham. The GMB Panthers are welcoming the Belfast Giants in a rematch of their overtime encounter three weeks ago. The Belfast Giants came away 2-1 winners in that matchup in a tense encounter. That overtime win signalled the Panthers first home loss in any competitive fixtures this season. Since then the GMB Panthers are yet to earn another win in the EIHL. As the team that started this fall in form, Panthers players want revenge on the Giants. Throughout the week Panthers media caught up with Andy Sertich and Dan Spang who both mentioned the change in mentality the team has experienced due to these losses. "We're coming to each game with a more strict approach... we don't like to lose, especially at home" Andy Sertich told Panthers Radio with Xynomix.. Dan Spang, talking to Panthers TV with the GMB, was happy that the rematch was coming so quickly after their last encounter: "they're still so fresh in our minds, with their system and the way they play." A match that the players view as such a grudge game promises to be an exciting one and there are still good seats to be had for the game.
