Yearbook dedicated to memory of Pete Hunt

The new GMB Nottingham Panthers Yearbook – AT THE DOUBLE – which will include the lowdown on the upcoming season’s players and an extensive look back on last season’s double trophy winning triumphs is to be dedicated to the memory of stalwart backroom staff member Pete Hunt. Pete died after illness just before the end of last season after more than thirty years of helping the club behind the scenes on the equipment side of the operation. General manager Gary Moran who edits the Panthers’ yearbooks said: ”Pete was Panthers through and through, his son Simon played for us and Pete for a long, long time was a fixture in the Panthers’ network of support staff. There will be a dedication page in his honour in this year’s book which will be out, we hope, early in the season to mark another remarkable year in the club’s history and also to mark the contribution of a dedicated volunteer in the shape of Pete Hunt.”
