Boxing Day tickets are always amongst the most popular on the calendar.

This year’s Boxing Day game against Coventry (4pm) is included on the season ticket. For everyone else the tickets go on sale from nine o’clock tomorrow morning (Monday October 7th).

With no ice made available to the Panthers this coming weekend, and having had several enquiries about when the festive tickets will be on sale already, the on-sale date has been brought forward a couple of weeks to help fans “spread the load”.

Tickets for New Year’s Eve are also going on sale early but not for a few weeks yet.

A club spokeswoman said today: “Boxing Day is always popular, and it’s always a game with lots of demand for tickets which are used as Christmas presents and by families looking to break up their holiday period with some hot on-ice sports entertainment.

“Midlands rivals Coventry will be here on Boxing Day so it’s guaranteed to be a festive treat of intense sports action. Panthers will be wearing their annual charity shirts for the first time at the game too. It’s a fixture date that has regularly sold out in the past so our advice is try to buy as soon as possible.”
