THE NOTTINGHAM Panthers have made alternative travel arrangements in the wake of the collapse of the airline FlyBE.

A club spokeswoman said : “It was a long day in the office yesterday swapping things around but there was never any question of the travel disruption meaning the team wouldn’t make the trip to take on the Belfast Giants in back-to-back action next Friday and Saturday.”

Meanwhile, the Panthers Travel Club was laying on an extra bus to help fans who also lost flights when the airline collapsed in the early hours of yesterday morning.
