Dates and ticket details for cup
The Challenge Cup Quarter-final between the Milton Keynes Lightning and the GMB Nottingham Panthers will take place in Milton Keynes on Friday December 22nd, and in Nottingham on Wednesday January 3rd.
The scheduled home game against Edinburgh on January 3rd is moving to Tuesday March 13th.
Challenge Cup quarter-final tickets go on sale on December 11th.
Lightning were second seeds at the selection process for the quarter-finals and, after Sheffield opted to play Dundee in Quarter-final One, the Lightning chose the Panthers as their opponents.
The winners of the Lightning-Panthers clash will face the winners of Belfast versus Fife in the semi-finals.
Cardiff take on Guildford in the fourth quarter-final, with the winners up against the winners of the Sheffield v Dundee game in the other semi-final.
Panthers and Lightning have moved quickly to set the dates for the quarter-final.
A Panthers’ spokeswoman said: “The schedule’s rammed throughout the year so it was never going to be easy. Wherever we slot games in – and we are governed by ice availability as well as other factors - it was going to choke up the calendar, but this solution works best for all parties.
"Ticket prices are being reduced for season ticket holders by £2 per ticket until close of business on December 27th."
