Design our Charity Jersey
Each season The Nottingham Panthers does its best to help charities in the area, with one particular charity adopted and the bulk of the fund-raising going to that cause.
Other charities get lots of help too, but one charity is taken under the club’s wing and, with help from the fans, we have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds over the years.
A big part of the fund-raising has been the sale of the charity Christmas shirts, which are worn at the big home games at Christmas and New Year.
The unique shirts are then sold at auction to raise money for our chosen charity.
It may be summer, but we’re already thinking ahead to this year’s Christmas shirt designs and that’s where YOU come in!
We’re asking fans to come up with design suggestions for this year’s shirt!!
There are templates available online but you can download a basic one here.
There are a few guidelines we’d like budding designers to bear in mind:
- The shirt needs to be popular with all ages and have an appeal outside the festive time of year so it can worn at any time of the season
- The team’s colours need to be born in mind (along with ‘Nottingham colours’ as we’ve had Robin Hood green & Friar Tuck brown shirts in the past)
- The main team sponsor will be on the front, the normal sponsors logos on the back and the others are normally spread down one of the sleeves
Send your designs to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or if you’re hand drawing them send them by post to:
The Nottingham Panthers, 3 Malin Hill, Nottingham, NG1 1JQ
If sending your design in by post, please remember to include a name, address and contact number.
Towards the end of the summer, a winning design will be selected and we will get a specially made up game-quality shirt ,with the winners name and a number of their choice on the back, as a unique reward for a unique competition.
Good luck everyone!
