Game day: Panthers at Lightning! | 02/03/19

The Nottingham Panthers hit the road for the first time since February 9th when they head to Milton Keynes to take on the Lightning tonight, face-off 7.00pm.

Milton Keynes currently prop up the Elite League, sitting in eleventh place with 30 points from 50 games, but, as Ollie Betteridge told Panthers Radio with Xynomix yesterday, they are not a side to be taken lightly as they contain some potent offensive weapons, in the form of Tim Wallace, Georgs Golovkos & Robbie Baillargeon to go alongside stellar netminding from Patrick Killeen.

It's a crucial two points on the line for the Panthers as they hunt down third place in the race for the best possible playoff seeding against a team playing for pride, who are sure to impact the playoff race from the outside.

Dylan Olsen (lower body) is set to be the only absentee for the Panthers so interim Head Coach Rick Strachan will have a full compliment of imports available

The Nottingham Panthers return to home ice action this Sunday, March 3rd - face-off 4.00pm, in a crucial match-up against the Fife Flyers and with just four points separating the sides, with Fife having three games in hand, it's a proverbial four pointer against a potential playoff opponent.
