Assistant coach Rick Strachan was quick to praise the youngsters for seizing their chance to log icetime and play their part when Panthers clinched their play-off spot with a big 12-1 win over the Edinburgh Capitals.

Jordan Kelsall had his first goals for the club and Josh Tetlow and Joe Hazeldine had plenty of shifts too.

Panthers are next at home when more Scottish opposition visit Nottingham next Tuesday as the Panthers will be looking for revenge against the Fife Flyers.
