PANTHERS TEAM UP WITH ROKO HEALTH CLUB
PANTHERS TEAM UP WITH ROKO HEALTH CLUB The GMB Nottingham Panthers are on the move and the players are joining ROKO HEALTH CLUB . The team will be doing their off-ice training at ROKO in West Bridgford, just a five minutes drive from the arena and near to the trams stop too on Wilford Lane. ROKO is already home to the players of Notts County and Forest and now members there will also be rubbing shoulders with the double-winning multi-trophy winning GMB Nottingham Panthers. Panthers’ head coach Corey Neilson said of the switch to ROKO: “It’s a great training facility for all walks of life, it’s got pools inside and out, a spa area, and a first class gymfloor with class areas and other rooms for classes and more. We’ll be spending a good deal of time during training camp at ROKO, there’s even a football field where the strength and fitness guys will be organising some extensive outdoor work too. “Then, come the start of the season we’ll be there on a regular basis through the week getting the players ready for action on the ice. “Off-ice training is important to us and it’s equally important for us to be able to do it at a first class establishment like ROKO.” ROKO members will be urged to say hello to our players when they’re at the club together and the bosses at ROKO will also be organising competitions for their members to win tickets to Panthers games. AND Panthers will be advertising the link between Nottingham’s most successful professional sports team and ROKO by way of big banners outside the entrance and exit to the club on one of the city’s busiest main roads. A Panthers’ spokeswoman said: “The Panthers are moving to ROKO, why not join us there, get healthy and you could bump into your favourite ice hockey stars while you’re doing it!” ROKO GM Julie Bowley is pictured with her staff at the club.
