26-year-old American netminder, Mike Robinson had a stellar junior career and was selected straight out of high school in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft by San Jose Sharks.
Robinson went on to play for five seasons with the University of New Hampshire in the NCAA - the top college league in North America.
Last year, he spent the majority of his time in the North American SPHL with Huntsville Havoc and also had a nine-game stint with ECHL side Adirondack Thunder.
His performances attracted the attention of American Hockey League outfit Utica Comets and Robinson received a call-up at the end of last season in May.
