29-year-old, American defenceman, Myles McGurty arrives at the Motorpoint Arena with over 200 games experience in the East Coast Hockey League over the past four years.
McGurty turned professional in 2018-19 after playing for Dalhousie University in the USports league - the highest level of college ice hockey in Canada.
He split his time between Orlando Solar Bears and Rapid City Rush (both ECHL), but also had a stint with Erste Ligue side Fehérvári Titánok.
After returning to Rapid City in 2019-20, McGurty has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons with Worcester Railers.
Last season, he led the Railers in plus-minus and also logged the most minutes on the team.
