The 27-year-old, American forward, Westin Michaud joins the Panthers from Denmark where he scored over a point per game for Odense Bulldogs last season.
Michaud netted 90 points in the highly-rated NCAA - the top college league in North America. After starting with Colorado College, he spent his final year with the University of North Dakota, leading the team in goals (16) and helping them to the regular-season title.
He signed his first professional contract with AHL side Manitoba Moose in the covid-hit 2020-21 season.
The forward spent the first part of the 2021-22 campaign in the East Coast Hockey League, scoring at a point per game for Kansas City Mavericks and Maine Mariners, before ending the season in the top division in Slovakia with Banska Bystrica.
