It's a huge gameday for The Nottingham Panthers as Belfast Giants visit the Motorpoint Arena in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

It's the first leg tonight in Nottingham with the return taking place in Northern Ireland on Wednesday 4th January.

Panthers come into the game on the back of Sunday's 5-2 victory over Cardiff Devils, while Belfast beat Dundee Stars 4-3 at the SSE Arena.

The two sides met in league action last month with Panthers coming out on a top in a nine-goal thriller with a 5-4 victory.

Team News
The Panthers will be without defence Duggie Lagrone and Craig Moore (both week-to-week), but Mike Caruso is expected to return to the line-up.

Archie Hazeldine and Jack Hopkins are still away with Great Britain at the Under-20 World Championship Division II Group A.

Win with the Panthers
There's plenty of prizes on offer tonight including the excitement of Chuck-a-Puck. If you land your puck closest to Paws at centre ice, you win a £100 voucher to spend in Ice Locker on Panthers merchandise. Pucks cost £1 each and can be purchased in the foyer. Chuck-a-Puck takes place at the start of the second intermission.

Tickets for the Fifty50 raffle - in association with Temple Printing - are sold in the foyer and around the rink for £1 each. The lucky winner will go home with a fantastic cash prize.

The Shirt Off His Back raffle is also £1 and check out the sellers in the foyer and around the concourse. The winner gets to choose the shirt they want and the player will take it off their back and present it to them on the ice after the game.

If you aren't successful in either prize draw, please make sure you keep your tickets. All tickets from both draws are put back into the hat for the second-prize draw and the winner will be announced on our social media channels and website later this week.

Live on Viaplay tonight
Tonight's game is live on Viaplay with commentary from six-time Olympic commentator Aaron Murphy and former Panthers player and coach Paul Adey.

Coverage gets under way at 7pm and lookout for a feature interview with Panthers Head Coach Corey Neilson in the build-up.
