The Nottingham Panthers and Manchester Storm meet for the second time in less than 24 hours as the two sides go head-to-head in the Premier Sports Challenge Cup in Altrincham this afternoon (5:30pm face-off).

Jeremy Welsh scored a hat-trick and Brett Welychka was also on target as Panthers skated to a 4-1 victory at the Motorpoint Arena last night, with Tyson Fawcett scoring for the Storm.

Panthers Head Coach, Gary Graham, said: "We showed belief on Saturday night and really got going.

"Now we have to show that consistency on a regular basis. We face the same team again now on their home ice.

"They'll make adjustments and they'll be hungry. It will be a good test for us."

Team News
The Panthers will be without Mike Caruso (injury reserve) who will be eligible to return for Wednesday's trip to Glasgow Clan in the Elite League.

Andrew Johnston and Duggie Lagrone (both day-to-day) are also set to miss the game, while netminder Alex Dubeau is suspended.
