Ahead of Wednesday's Elite League match at home to Glasgow Clan (7:30pm face-off), The Nottingham Panthers Head Coach Gary Graham says his side have to be stronger in front of their own net.

Clan come into the game on the back of last night's 4-3 overtime defeat by Coventry Blaze at the Skydome.

The Panthers came out on top with a 3-2 victory after penalty shots when the sides met last week in Glasgow, but were beaten 7-4 at home on Saturday night in the Challenge Cup by Sheffield Steelers.

Graham said: "It was great to get some scoring (against Sheffield), but our problems were in front of our own net.

"Clan play similar to Sheffield. They will put pucks to the net and crash the net.

"If you don't defend in front of the net you will find it tough, it doesn't matter who you are playing against.

"We have to be aware of that and be aware of a Clan side that can cause you problems."
