The Nottingham Panthers start their festive season action this evening with the visit of Glasgow Clan to the Motorpoint Arena in the Viaplay Elite League (7:30pm face-off).

It's the second meeting of the two teams in Nottingham this season after Panthers skated to a 6-2 victory in October.

Glasgow arrive in Nottingham bottom of the Elite League but captain Matthew Myers knows they should not be under-estimated.

"The Clan changed their coaching and started to get some wins but they've lost a couple of players recently," said Myers.

"They're desperate for wins and it's going to be a difficult game. They've got the roadtrip down but they can come in here hot. No game is easy for anyone in this league.

"For us, it's nice to be winning. We've won some games recently where we're weren't great and we know we still have work to do."

Doors will open half an hour earlier at 5:30pm to enable children to visit Santa Paws in his grotto in the foyer and there will be a limited amount of gifts on a first come, first served basis.

The Salvation Army Band will be with us in the foyer to bring us festive joy with Christmas tunes old and new.

Team News
Panthers will be without defencemen Duggie Lagrone and Craig Moore who remain out of action because of injury (week-to-week).

The Clan are short-benched with Shawn Boutin and Colton Waltz currently missing with long-term injuries, while forward Nolan LaPorte left the club this week.

Can you open the Panthers Vault?
A new interactive competition launches tonight as fans get their first opportunity to try and unlock the Panthers Vault.

It's £1 entry and if your ticket is drawn out of the hat, you will go rinkside with DJ Ken Feast to try and win £100. Read more about the Panthers Vault here.

Chances to win in the Fifty50, Shirt Off His Back and Chuck-a-Puck
You could win an immersive VR Play Zone experience for four at Meet Space VR, plus a hamper filled with Christmas goodies in this week's Chuck-a-Puck if you land your puck closest to Paws at centre ice. Pucks cost £1 each and can be purchased in the foyer. Chuck-a-Puck takes place at the start of the second intermission.

Tickets for the Fifty50 raffle - in association with Temple Printing - are sold in the foyer and around the rink for £1 each. The lucky winner will go home with a fantastic cash prize.

This week's shirt raffle is a very special prize - a one-off Corey Neilson #77 jersey in this season's gold design. Tickets cost £1 each and lookout for the sellers in the foyer and around the concourse.

If you aren't successful in either prize draw, please make sure you keep your tickets. All tickets are put back into the hat for the second-prize draw and the winner will be announced on our social media channels and website within the next couple of days.
