New signing Jakub Izacky says he wants to make an impact with The Nottingham Panthers and help the club end the season strongly.
The 29-year-old will make his debut this weekend as Panthers play back-to-back home games in the Viaplay Elite League against Cardiff Devils and Dundee Stars.
The Devils visit the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday (7pm) before Dundee make the trip to Nottingham on Sunday (4pm).
Izacky, who has spent the past six seasons in Erste Liga scoring at over a point-per-game, trained with his new team-mates today.
His no-nonsense style of play and ability to put up points on a regular basis had made him a popular player throughout his career.
"I want to repeat what I did in the Erste Liga and I am coming here to do my job," said Izacky.
"My agent called me to tell me about Nottingham and I said 'yeh of course I want to go'.
"I have heard a lot of things about how amazing the fans are here, so I can't wait for Saturday and Sunday.
"I want to help put us in a good position for the playoffs, work hard to help us win and do anything for the team."

Individual match tickets for both games are on sale for this weekend but with it being back-to-back home matches, supporters can take advantage of great savings if they are attending both nights.
In addition, the special family tickets - normally only available for Sunday matches - can be purchased for both games this weekend.
