The Nottingham Panthers forward Jordan Kelsall says the playoffs are a fresh start for the team ahead of the two-legged quarter-final with Guildford Flames this weekend.
The first leg takes place at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday (7pm) which is followed by Sunday's second leg at The Spectrum in Guildford (6pm).
Kelsall said: "Obviously, the way the league went we would have liked to finished higher in the standings.
"Now we have the chance in two games against Guildford to really show what we can do. It's a fresh start for us.
"We will be very well prepared and we will give it our best shot to come away and progress to the Final Four weekend."
