New signing Carl Neill says he's keen to contribute at both ends of the ice for The Nottingham Panthers next season.

The 26-year-old offensive defenceman joins the Panthers from one of the best leagues in Europe after spending time last season with German DEL side Schwenninger Wild Wings.

Neill was drafted in the fifth round of the NHL Draft by Vancouver Canucks in 2015 before going on to produce at a point per game for Concordia University in the Canadian Usports college league from 2017 to 2020.

Neill chats to Panthers TV - in association with Jeremias Chimney Systems - about playing in the DEL, as well as Slovenian side HK Olimpija Ljubljana last season.

He also talks about being drafted by Vancouver and coming through the Canadian college system with Concordia.

The blueliner also discusses his hopes and aims for the upcoming season and reveals how Mathieu Gagnon recommended him coming to Nottingham.
