OPENING TRAINING SESSION TODAY

The Nottingham Panthers are undergoing final preparations ahead of tomorrow's pre-season opener with Sheffield Steelers - and you can watch today's training session at the Motorpoint Arena.

It takes place from 10:45am until 12:15pm in the main arena and you're welcome to pop along and sit in the stands to watch the team fine-tune their plans for the Steelers.

Head Coach, Gary Graham, said: "We'd like to see as many supporters down as possible.

"I was blown away by the turnout at Saltbox last week for the jersey launch and I know the rest of the boys were too."

Tickets are still available for Graham's first game in charge of the Panthers as the Steelers visit the Motorpoint Arena in the GM the GM Memorial Trophy (7pm).

Saturday 3rd September (7pm) is Aladdin Cup action against Cardiff Devils and the Premier Sports Elite League season begins with Guildford Flames coming to Nottingham on Saturday 10th September (7pm).
