The Nottingham Panthers beat Manchester Storm 5-4 on Sunday afternoon to secure their place in the knockout stages of the Challenge Cup.
Matthew Myers scored twice while were also goals for JC Brassard, David Levin and Mike Hammond.
Matty Bloor - on his 18th birthday - replaced Alex Dubeau who left the game because of injury and the British netminder led Panthers to the win in his first taste of senior hockey.
