SPECIAL SURPRISE FOR 100-YEAR-OLD MARGARET

There was a special surprise for Nottingham Panthers supporter Margaret Young, who celebrated her 100th birthday year at the Motorpoint Arena last night.

Margaret was joined by her son Martin and other members of the family in a suite for the game against the Sheffield Steelers.

Both Margaret and Martin have been season ticket holders since the arena opened 22 years ago.

Margaret celebrated her 100th birthday during the off-season and it was an honour to celebrate this special year at the game last night.

Paws - in association with Annie's Burger Shack - and netminder Alex Dubeau were on hand to present Margaret with a named shirt signed by all of this year's roster, as well as a bouquet of flowers.
