The Nottingham Panthers beat Guildford Flames 3-0 at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday, producing a superb performance in the Elite League to secure a valuable two points.

In the opening period, Joe Hazeldine opening the scoring in his first home match since returning to the club and Tyler Welsh scored his first league goal of the season.

Jordan Kelsall secured the points with a one-timer in the third session after great work by Logan Neilson and Welsh, while netminder Rok Stojanovic secured a 36-shot shutout.

Panthers are back at home on Saturday with Manchester Storm visiting the Motorpoint Arena - in a game sponsored by Lincs Air Testing.
