Panthers In The Community
The Nottingham Panthers work closely with local organisations to implement projects, initiatives and awareness, resulting in a strong reputation in the community and our charity fund raising efforts have earned praise from many quarters. Over the years the club has done it's part to educate fans and the wider community on a broad range of topics such as health, safety and personal achievement. Below is a selection of our recent projects to highlight our commitment to the community.
The links with Blue Bell Hill Trust, the fire service and the healthcare trust have led to nominations for awards with the Panthers playing a major part in those achievements. The community work and the charity work will continue at a pace in the future.
Bluebell School

The Panthers have a special relationship with the Bluebell Hill School in St Anns where the pupils have become massive fans of the team and where the Panthers have played a major part in helping lift the school to the top of the educational charts.

Nottinghamshire Fire Service

Nottingham Fire and Rescue joined in the schools programme to great effect and fire fighters visit schools alongside the team and then follow up with further visits of their own with their fire and community safety messages.
The schools link has been extended through Blue Bell Hill to many other schools in the Nottingham area with players spreading the word about team work and being healthy of body and mind.
Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

The Panthers also work in association with the Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust. This includes the club joining in publicity campaigns and much more. The Panthers have supported, amongst others, campaigns aimed at breaking down the stigma of mental health issues as well as supporting other programmes such as promoting healthy eating and maintaining dental hygiene.
