Match Report

Nottingham Panthers secured their second victory of pre-season with a 3-2 win on-the-road at Manchester Storm.
Matt Marcinew and Brendan Harris made their debuts for the Panthers, while 17-year-old Nottinghamshire-born forward Alex Rushby was in the line-up again.
Jason Grande started between the pipes with Kevin Carr as back-up, but captain Matt Alfaro remains out of action as he recovers from an operation at the end of last season.
It was an even first period but Storm led at the first intermission thanks to Brady Gilmour's shot from the slot (15:52).
Bryan Lemos and Didrik Henbrant combined to set-up Ross Armour to equalise (24:21), before the hosts went ahead again as Tyler Hinam got the final touch from close-range (27:53).
Panthers levelled on the powerplay as Marcinew fed Tim Doherty to score with a one-timer from the right-circle (38:10).
Carr replaced Grande in the Panthers goal at the start of the third period and made good saves to deny Hinam and Loren Ulett.
Marcinew, Chase Pearson and Didrik Henbrant had chances for Panthers inside the opening five minutes of the session.
Panthers won it with just over three mintues remaining as Henbrant used his speed to set-up Ollie Betteridge who drove the net to score from the slot (56:52).
