Nottingham Panthers were beaten 4-1 by Glasgow Clan on a disappointing night in Scotland in the Elite League.
Panthers were without injured forwards Mitch Fossier, Matt Marcinew and Chase Pearson which meant defenceman Jarod Hilderman played as a forward.
Jason Grande started between the pipes with Luca Sheldon as back-up.
Glasgow lead by two at first intermission
The hosts when ahead thanks to Colton Poolman's shot through traffic from just inside the blueline (11:57) and Jason Fram made it 2-0 with a neat wraparound goal (17:45).
Grande made a great double close-range save to deny Deven Sideroff while at the other end, Panthers went close with chances for Didrik Henbrant and Nolan Volcan.
Harris on target but Clan remain in command
Glasgow got the perfect start to the second period as Jason Fram scored from the right-circle (20:19) for his second of the night.
Panthers pulled a goal back when Jakob Stridsberg's shot hit the bar and Brendan Harris buried the rebound (25:56), but Daniel Tedesco's wraparound restored Clan's three-goal advantage (27:52).
No goals in third period as Clan secure victory
Matt Spencer's shot from the blueline was saved by Liam Soulière early in the third session and Cooper Zech was also denied by the Clan netminder.
The Clan saw the game out and pushed to add to their tally but former Panthers forward Félix Paré saw his shot come back off the bar.
