The Motorpoint Arena is already two-thirds full for Saturday's game with Coventry Blaze (19:00 face-off) - a game sponsored by Posh Nosh.

Matches against our Midlands rivals are always high-octane encounters and with tickets selling fast, you're urged to secure your seats asap.

Coventry are coached by our former Assistant Coach Kevin Moore who is now in his second season with the Blaze.

Moore has three former Panthers players on his roster in defenceman Archie Hazeldine, as well as forwards Jack Hopkins and Zaine McKenzie.

The Blaze have lost their two top points-scorers from last season with Chase Gresock moving to French side Rouen and Nick Seitz to Elite League rivals Sheffield Steelers.

But Alessio Luciani returns for his third season at the Skydome Arena and Moore has secured the services of a number of players with Elite League experience.

Defenceman Colton Saucerman has joined the Blaze after two seasons with Sheffield Steelers.

Elijiah Barriga and Grant Mismash move to the Skydome from Belfast Giants, while former Braehead Clan forward Mike Pelech is another new arrival.

Blaze beat NIHL side MK Lightning 7-4 last Friday before securing a 4-1 victory against Tilburg Trappers from the Netherlands on Sunday.

Panthers go into the game on the back of two more victories last wekeend as a 3-2 victory in Altrincham against Manchester Storm was followed by a 6-0 victory over French top-flight Amiens at the Motorpoint Arena.

We can't wait to welcome you to the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday. Join the #PanthersNation for a big Saturday night of hockey in Nottingham.
