It's the start of a new week and the Nottingham Panthers are turning their attentions to a double-header with Midlands rivals Coventry Blaze in the Motorpoint Elite League this weekend.
The two sides meet at the Skydome Arena in Coventry on Saturday (19:00) before returning to Nottingham on Sunday (16:00) to go head-to-head for the second time in under 24 hours.
Coventry will go into the game on the back of Sunday's 4-3 home victory over Sheffield Steelers after a shootout which saw Kevin Moore's side secure a vital two points.
Jaxson Ezman, Andrew Nielsen and Griffin Ness were on target for the Blaze as the game ended 3-3 in regulation-time.
After no goals in overtime, the Blaze won the shootout thanks to goals from Ness and Ezman.
Blaze netminder Sisu Heikkeri turned away four of Sheffield's five attempts with Mitchell Balmas the only player to beat him.
Coventry are currently fourth in the Motorpoint Elite League table with 10 points from six matches.
Panthers endured a tough weekend with defeats by Belfast Giants and Sheffield Steelers and will be looking to kickstart another winning streak.
The two sides have met once already on Lower Parliament Street this season with Panthers skating to a 4-3 victory in the Challenge Cup.
Darick Louis-Jean, Joe Hazeldine, Ben Corbeil and Zach O'Brien were all target for Danny Stewart's side.
It's going to be another busy crowd for the visit of the Blaze to Nottingham on Sunday, so you are urged to secure your seats asap.
