Nottingham Panthers play their final home game of pre-season on Saturday (6th September) against Coventry Blaze (19:00 face-off).
The visit of our Midlands rivals is always an intense and exciting encounter, so it's all set to be a big Saturday night of hockey at the Motorpoint Arena.
The game is sponsored by Posh Nosh and tickets are selling fast and you're urged to secure your seats as soon as possible.
Panthers go into the game on the back of two more victories in pre-season to make it three wins in a row.
Ross Armour, Tim Doherty and Ollie Betteridge were on target in Saturday night's 3-2 victory in Altrincham against Manchester Storm.
Sunday saw Panthers beat French top-flight side Amiens 6-0 at the Motorpoint Arena, which saw the return of Kevin Bergin who won two Challenge Cup titles in a three-season spell from 2007 to 2010.
Bergy is now Head Coach of Amiens and was given a standing ovation by the #PanthersNation just ahead of the first face-off.
Mitch Fossier scored twice while there was a goal each for Ollie Betteridge, David Noël, Ross Armour and Didrik Henbrant.
Coventry, of course, are coached by our former Assistant Coach Kevin Moore who is now in his second season with the Blaze.
The West Midlands side began their pre-season action on Friday with a 7-4 home victory over NIHL side MK Lightning who are led by former Panthers coach Tim Wallace.
British defenceman Milique Martelly, who is on a two-way with the Lightning and Panthers, contributed two assists.
The Blaze also won last night as they secured a 4-1 victory at the Skydome Arena against Tilburg Trappers from the Netherlands.
We're can't wait for a Saturday night Hockey Night in Nottingham. Join the #PanthersNation and enjoy the passion of Panthers Hockey.
