BRANDON FRATTAROLI: THE FULL LOWDOWN
By Jono Bullard
Nottingham Panthers latest signing for the 2026/27 season is Canadian forward Brandon Frattaroli who joins the club from IF Troja-Ljungby in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Born in Pierrefonds near Montreal, Québec, Frattaroli started his career at AA and AAA level with Lac St-Louis Lions, playing in their system for five seasons before joining Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), playing six games and scoring three points.
He stayed in the QMJHL with Quebec Remparts, playing 74 games in the 2018/19 season and scoring 23 points.
Frattaroli moved on again within the QMJHL, icing the next two seasons with Baie-Comeau Drakkar where he played 94 games and scored 57 points.
With his time in the QMJHL now at an end, Frattaroli moved to USports and McGill University Redbirds where he became team-mates with fellow Panther Patrick Larkin.
He played four seasons for the Redbirds between 2021/22 and 2024/25, playing 114 regular-season games, scoring 54 goals and 72 assists for 126 points.
In the 2023/24 season, McGill made it to the USports University Cup playoffs, playing in the Bronze Medal Game against Toronto Metropolitan University. Frattaroli scored twice, including the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory to secure the bronze medal.
The following season, Frattaroli was the joint-highest goalscorer in USports, finding the net 21 times in 28 regular-season games.
For the 2025/26 season he moved to Europe, signing for Frederikshavn White Hawks in the Danish Metal Ligaen. Frattaroli played 40 games for the White Hawks, finishing the season as their top points scorer with 28 points, despite not completing the season with them.
In February 2026, Frattaroli left Frederikshavn for the Swedish Allsvenskan, signing for IF Troja-Ljungby. He played 14 games for them, scoring four points.
Frattaroli now continues his professional career in Nottingham at the Motorpoint Arena. We look forward to welcoming him to the team and city.
