Following Sunday's 4-2 victory over Ducs d'Angers, attention now turns to the visit of fellow French top-flight side Amiens this Saturday (29th August) to the Motorpoint Arena.
The game faces-off at 19:00 and tickets are selling fast for the first Saturday night home game of the season, so you're urged to secure your seats asap.
The two sides will battle it out for the GM the GM Memorial Trophy in honour of our former General Manager Gary Moran who sadly passed away in December 2021.
Former Panther Bruce Richardson returns to the Motorpoint Arena as Head Coach of Amiens. Richardson was a popular player for the Panthers in his two-year spell between 2008 and 2010.
Panthers are back on the ice today after Sunday's high-energy success over Angers in front of a sold-out Motorpoint Arena crowd.
New signing Max Grondin scored twice while Chase Pearson was also on target, before Miikka Pitkänen sealed the game with an empty-net goal after former Panthers netminder Alex Dubeau was lifted for the extra skater.
There were 12 debutants for the Panthers including 20-year-old Nottingham-born defenceman Henry Newell.
Netminder Mat Robson, who joined in the off-season from Coventry Blaze, played two periods while Kai Edmonds was between the pipes in the third session.
