CHARITY OF THE MONTH: CENTRAL WOMEN'S AID
Central Women’s Aid provides free, confidential support to families affected by domestic abuse across the local area. They offer crisis support, advocacy, safety planning, accomodation and longer-term help to support survivors in rebuilding their lives.
Throughout December, Central Women’s Aid are attending Panthers home games and are based in the foyer to raise awareness, speak with supporters and share information about the services available.
A Central Women’s Aid spokesperson said: “Domestic abuse can affect anyone. By attending Panthers games in December, we hope to raise awareness and remind people that support is available and no one has to face this alone.”
Signed Shirt Raffle
A signed Panthers shirt has been donated and will be raffled at home games during December. Fans can enter the raffle by visiting the Central Women’s Aid stand in the foyer
The winner will be drawn after the final December home game and will be contacted directly using their details provided. All funds raised through the raffle will go directly towards supporting the work of Central Women’s Aid.
