Following last night's superb Challenge Cup victory over Sheffield Steelers, Nottingham Panthers now focus on two Elite League games this weekend including Cardiff Devils at home on Sunday.
Panthers secured a 3-0 win in the first leg of the semi-final thanks to two goals by Brendan Harris and one for defenceman Jakob Stridsberg.
It means Panthers take a three-goal lead into next week's (Wednesday 25th February) second leg in Sheffield.
In his post-match interview, Head Coch Danny Stewart said his side played with "energy and urgency" and were "clinical all over the ice".
Preparations now start for two massive games in the league which starts with Saturday's trip to Manchester Storm.
The Storm are having an impressive season and currently sit fifth in the standings with 46 points from 38 matches.
Their home form has been one of their major strengths and last Saturday they secured a 3-2 victory over Glasgow Clan after a shootout.
Very limited tickets remain for Sunday at home to Cardiff
Sunday's action sees the Devils visit the Motorpoint Arena in a game sponsored by WAGO (16:00 face-off).
The Devils are second in the Elite League standings with 56 points from 39 games, two points ahead of the Panthers but Paul Thompson's side have played a game more.
Cardiff's weekend starts with a visit from league leaders Belfast Giants on Friday night, so it's set to be a huge few days in the title race.
Tickets are selling fast for Sunday and very limited tickets remain, so you are urged to secure your seats asap to avoid disappointment.
