Nottingham Panthers play their final road game of pre-season with a trip to Wales tonight (Friday) to face Cardiff Devils (19:00 face-off).

Panthers go into the game on the back of three victories so far with wins recorded over Concorida Stingers (5-4), Manchester Storm (3-2) and Amiens (6-0).

Cardiff had two huge battles with Sheffield Steelers last weekend, but were beaten 4-3 on the road in overtime on the Saturday and 3-2 in Wales after penalty shots on Sunday.

It's the first of two games this weekend for the Panthers with Coventry Blaze visiting the Motorpoint Arena tomorrow night (Saturday).

The game is sponsored by Posh Nosh and two-thirds of the tickets have already been sold, so another large crowd will be in attendance.

Panthers Head Coach, Danny Stewart, said: "Cardiff is a loud building and it's never easy to go there so we know it will be a good test.

"They had a coaching change with Paul Thompson going there and obviously I know him quite well. He will have his guys well-drilled.

"It's exciting. Thommo and I have kept in touch over the years and picked each other's brains a lot in terms of coaching and dealing with players.

"I do wish him well personally but not so much from a team standpoint!"

Forward Nolan Volcan is set to make his Panthers debut this evening after arriving in the UK on Wednesday.

Matt Alfaro remains out of action while fellow forward Mitch Fossier is rested as a precaution.
